We’re nearly at 2022’s halfway mark! The year started with new car stock being hard to come by in an industry (already) ravaged by a two year global pandemic, and then compounded shortages in semiconductors.

Despite the challenging conditions, the automotive industry in 2022 looks to be a bumper year for new cars.

It’s reported that of the more than 7000 expressions of interest registered from Australian buyers for incoming Spanish brand Cupra, the Formentor is by far the most popular. It’s easy to see why, with its sleek-looking coachwork, it’s a beautifully styled small SUV.

Unlike the other Cupra models that are based on a Seat equivalent, the Formentor is based on the same MQB platform as the Volkswagen Golf and Audi A3, meaning it shares a similar wheelbase and interior packaging as its German counterparts.

Ford Ranger – Mid-2022

Ford offers a range of single, double and super cab models, available in both 4×2 and 4×4 drive trains.
